Dr. Timothy E. Gardner and our team at Montgomery & Conroe Comprehensive Dental Centers are very grateful for Veterans! It is both an honor and pleasure to be able to provide dentistry to Montgomery County, Texas, veterans during our annual Dentistry For Veterans day, held each November at our Montgomery office. It is our 11th year, and we enjoy being able to Pay It Forward.
We encourage Veterans in Montgomery County, Texas, to reach out to our offices every October to be pre-screened for services they need.
During the pre-screening process, we can diagnose necessary treatment. Procedures done free of charge include, but are not limited to, cleanings, filings, crowns, root canals and extractions. Our mission is to take care of any infections present and catch issues before they become painful.
Dr. Gardner has always held the military in the highest regard and created this event to give back to those who have given so much for our freedoms and this wonderful country. In addition, business sponsors for the event have included Dental Health Products, Mike’s Superior Dental Lab, Williams Dental Lab, Vitality Dental Arts, PureLife Dental and Pizza Shack on Hwy. 105 in Montgomery, Texas.
This year we have chosen an ambassador for our event. Special Operator (SO) Patrick Lopez.
Officially, at the beginning of his Frogman career, he received the SEAL trident in Conroe, Texas, from Michael Thornton, Medal Of Honor recipient. While assigned to his first SEAL team in Hawaii, he was the most deployed west coast SEAL during a three-year period. Throughout his worldwide career, he completed eight major SEAL deployments and trained NAVY forces and other forces in several skill sets. As an advisor for DARPA, Lopez introduced the blast gauge to Naval Special Warfare and helped research traumatic brain injury (TBI) related to the supersonic wave from blasts.
Special Operator (SO) Patrick Lopez retired from the Navy in 2016, at the Conroe Tower, Conroe, Texas. As of this writing, Mr. Lopez also is a member of the Montgomery County Veterans Memorial Commission and is currently a senior attending Liberty University.
Mr. Lopez suffers from TBI and facial trauma. Through local support, Patrick is receiving much needed comprehensive dental care through Dr. Timothy Gardner, D.D.S. Patrick proudly supports the wonderful Dentistry for Veterans mission to change veterans’ lives, one smile at a time.
