Our dentists, Dr. Timothy Gardner, Dr. Todd Leiker, and the team proudly serve their community by hosting and participating in a variety charitable activities and organizations. These events which happen throughout the year are some of their most cherished and enjoyable times.

13th Annual Dentistry for the Veterans Event

Montgomery Comprehensive Dental Center, armed with staff and volunteers, is out to change lives by offering FREE DENTISTRY to the Veterans of Montgomery County.

The event will treat those who have honorably served in the U.S. Armed Forces. There will be no cost to those who show proof of military service. Procedures include, but are not limited to, cleanings, exams, extraction, simple fillings, root-canals, crowns, partials and dentures. Those who qualify are asked to call 936-585-4353 or 936-539-3636 to make a pre-screening reservation.

*Pre-screening visits will be scheduled during the month of October.

*There will be no cost to those who show proof of military service.

As a valued member of our community, we are reaching out for your assistance in getting the word out to those veterans who are in need of dental care. Any help in promoting this event would be greatly appreciated; such as a mention in your church bulletin or posting on a community calendar.

The event will take place Saturday, November 9, 2024, from 7:30am – 4:00pm.

12th Annual “Dentistry For Veterans”

Dr. Timothy E. Gardner of Montgomery & Conroe Comprehensive Dental Centers honors Veteran’s Day with free dentistry! Dr. Gardner always says, “Pay It Forward”.

For the 12th consecutive year, Dr. Gardner and volunteers which included Dr. Todd Leiker, Dr. Scott Mosby, Dr. Chris Caldwell, Rachel Burrough RDH, Trisha Ortiz, RDH, Rachel Moore, RDH, Hannah, RDH, as well as the Teams from Montgomery & Conroe Comprehensive Dental Centers, performed over $130,000 worth of free dentistry to Montgomery County veterans on Veteran’s Day, November 11, 2023.

In addition, business sponsors for the event included Dental Health Products, Benco Dental, and Williams Dental Lab.

Dr. Gardner has always held our military in the highest regard and created this event to give back to those who have served our country. To date the event has donated more than $1,062,000 worth of free dental care to Montgomery County veterans.

Dentistry From the Heart

On March 4, we held our 14th annual Dentistry From the Heart (DFTH) event, donating more than $26,511 worth of free dental care, from dental cleanings to fillings and extractions, to our underprivileged and uninsured neighbors in Montgomery County. The goal was first and foremost to treat infections and help patients find relief from dental pain.

Dr. Timothy Gardner, Dr. Todd Leiker, and Dr. Sandra Felefli, as well as our registered dental hygienists Rachel and Trisha, joined with the national nonprofit DFTH organization to donate their time and talent this year. We are all proud to share the same goal: make people smile!

11th Annual “Dentistry For Veterans”

Dr. Timothy E. Gardner of Montgomery & Conroe Comprehensive Dental Centers honors Veteran’s Day with free dentistry! “Pay It Forward” as Dr. Gardner always says.

For the 11th consecutive year, Dr. Gardner and volunteers, which included Dr. Todd Leiker; Dr. Sandra Felefli; Rachel Burroughs, RDH; Logan Freeman, BSDH; Trisha Ortiz, RDH; Tiffany Whitley, RDH; as well as area dental assistants, performed over $178,751 worth of free dentistry to over 43 Montgomery County veterans.

In addition, business sponsors for the event included Dental Health Products, BioHorizon, Benco Dental, and Williams Dental Lab.

This year they chose an ambassador for the event: Special Operator (SO) Patrick Lopez.

Officially, at the beginning of his Frogman career, he received the SEAL trident in Conroe, Texas, from Michael Thornton, Medal Of Honor recipient. While assigned to his first SEAL team in Hawaii, he was the most deployed west coast SEAL during a three-year period. Throughout his worldwide career, he completed eight major SEAL deployments and trained NAVY forces and other forces in several skill sets.

Special Operator (SO) Patrick Lopez retired from the Navy in 2016.

Patrick is receiving much needed comprehensive dental care through Dr. Timothy Gardner. Patrick proudly supports the wonderful “Dentistry for Veterans” mission to change veterans’ lives, one smile at a time.

Dr. Gardner has always held the military in the highest regard and created this event to give back to those who have given so much for our country. To date, the event has donated more than $932,751 worth of free dental care to Montgomery County veterans.

Dentistry From the Heart

Dr. Timothy Gardner’s 12th Annual “Dentistry From the Heart” event held at Conroe Comprehensive Dental Center, April 2022, donated more than $31,100 worth of free dental care to 38 underprivileged and uninsured residents of Montgomery County. Procedures done free of charge and included cleanings, fillings and extractions. Their mission was to treat infections and get patients out of pain. Volunteers included Dr. Timothy Gardner, Dr. Todd Leiker, Dr. Sandra Felifle, Rachel Burrough, RDH, Logan Freeman, RDH, and Tenille Fritsche Riley, RDH, along with volunteers and team members.

Dentistry From the Heart (DFTH) is a national non-profit organization with a simple mission: making people smile. DFTH was created to aid those in need, including the growing population of under-insured Americans.

Dentistry for Veterans

Created by Dr. Gardner and held in November, Dentistry for Veterans serves those who have honorably served in the United States Armed Forces. The 10th annual Dentistry for Veterans took place on Saturday, November 13th, 2021, and we provided more than $754,000 worth of free dentistry to area veterans in the last 10 years.

Wounded Veteran Donation

In 2013, Dr. Gardner donated 10% of all dental treatments done in the month of September to the purchase of an Action Trackchair for a local disabled veteran. In 2019, Dr. Gardner and team are once again donating 10% of dental treatments completed in the month of October toward the purchase of an all-terrain wheelchair.

Scholarships

For the last 13 years, Dr. Gardner has given scholarships to a graduating senior from Conroe, Montgomery and Willis high schools. The $1,000 scholarship award is presented personally by Dr. Gardner at each high school’s awards night. In its eighth year it will expand to an additional area high school.

Local dentist pays it forward for 2023 Grads!

Montgomery, Texas – Supporting the stars of the future! That seems to be the case for Dr. Tim Gardner, D.D.S. of Montgomery & Conroe Comprehensive Dental Centers.

This year marks the 15th annual Timothy E. Gardner D.D.S. Scholarship award. The $1000 scholarship is eligible to graduating high school seniors attending Montgomery, Conroe and Willis High Schools, who are attending college in Fall of 2023. These four fantastic seniors received their award and check from Dr. Gardner and his staff at their Montgomery office, on May 17, 2023.

Dr. Gardner congratulated, awarded and offered words of wisdom to “Pay it Forward.”

The 2023 winners were: Brooke Ruff, Montgomery High School; Cline Piotrowski, Lake Creek High School; Emily Creech, Conroe High School; and Rylee Neumann, Willis High School.

Applicants were required to complete an application which includes their GPA, class rank, extracurricular activities, volunteer hours, etc., as well as two short answer essay questions.

Dr. Gardner, Dr. Leiker and our team proudly sponsor a variety of area youth and high school sports and charity runs. In addition, they participate in donating auction items to area churches, first responder fundraisers and chamber events.
