Local dentist spreads free smiles

Conroe, Texas- Dr. Timothy Gardner’s 17th Annual “Dentistry From the Heart” event held at Conroe Comprehensive Dental Center, Saturday, May 16, 2026, donated more than $55,932 worth of free dental care to underprivileged/uninsured in the community.  To date, they have donated over $655,00 worth of dentistry to date.

Procedures done free of charge included cleanings, fillings, and extractions. Their mission was to treat infections and get patients out of pain.

Volunteers included Dr. Timothy Gardner, D.D.S., Dr. Todd Leiker D.D.S., Dr. Robby Jennings, D.D.S., Rachel Burrough, RDH, Trisha Ortiz, RDH, Ashley Boyd, RDH, Beth Victor, RDH, Audrey Feliciano, RDH, Michele Peterson, along with many more team members.

When the team arrived at 6:00 am, there was already a line around the building. When Dr. Gardner addresses the crowd, he stated “He does this because he loves all of God’s children and wants to use the talents, he gave him to help people.”   

Dentistry from the heart (DFTH) is a national non-profit organization with a simple mission: making people smile. DFTH was created to aid those in need, including the growing population of under-insured Americans.

Local dentist, pays it forward for 2025 Grads!

Montgomery, Texas – Supporting the Stars of the future!  That seems to be the case for Dr. Tim Gardner, D.D.S. of Montgomery & Conroe Comprehensive Dental Centers.

This year marks the 17th annual Timothy E. Gardner D.D.S. Scholarship award. The $1000 scholarship is eligible to graduating high school seniors attending Montgomery, Conroe, and Willis High Schools, who are attending college in Fall of 2025.  These four fantastic Seniors received their award and check from Dr. Gardner and his staff at their Montgomery office, on May 15, 2025.

Dr. Gardner congratulated, awarded and offered words of wisdom to “Pay it Forward”.

The 2025 winners were:  Zane Cooper, Montgomery High School; Kimberly Lynn Boyd, Lake Creek High School; Kai Coley, Conroe High School; and Tania Jolie Troncoso, Willis High School.

Applicants were required to complete an application which includes their GPA, class rank, extracurricular activities, volunteer hours, ect., as well as two short answer essay questions.

16th Annual Dentistry From The Heart

Conroe, Texas- Dr. Timothy Gardner’s 16th Annual “Dentistry From the Heart” event held at Conroe Comprehensive Dental Center, Saturday, April 12, 2025, donated more than $29,301 worth of free dental care to 42 underprivileged/uninsured residents of Montgomery County.

Procedures done free of charge included cleanings, fillings, and extractions. Their mission was to treat infections and get patients out of pain. Volunteers included Dr. Timothy Gardner, D.D.S., Dr. Todd Leiker D.D.S., Dr. Kimberly Raabe, D.D.S., and Trisha Ortiz, RDH, Sierra Micu, RDH, along with team members. When the staff arrived at 6:30 am, the parking lot was full.

13th Annual Dentistry for Veterans Press Release

Dr. Timothy E. Gardner of Montgomery & Conroe Comprehensive Dental Centers honors Veteran’s Day by providing Veterans with free dentistry!

For the 13th consecutive year, Dr. Gardner and volunteers which included Dr. Todd Leiker, Dr. Kimberly Raabe, Dr. Scott Mosby, Dr. Chris Caldwell, Rachel Burrough RDH, Trisha Ortiz, RDH, Sara Ledford, RDH, Megan Vermaas, RDH, as well as the Teams from Montgomery & Conroe Comprehensive Dental Centers, performed over $92,859 worth of free dentistry to Montgomery County veterans on Saturday, November 9, 2024.

In addition, to the wonderful volunteers, we had a very generous and continued sponsor, Williams Dental Lab of Gilroy, California.

Dr. Gardner and Team always hold our military in the highest regard. This event provides much needed dentistry to those who have proudly served our country.

To date the event has donated more than $1,138,050 worth of free dental care to Montgomery County veterans.
